Substations
with Local Features
In line with the overall national development, NER is committed
to promoting community cultures and bridging the gap between urban
and rural development in culture and education. Since 1981, NER
has established a substation in Changhua, Kaohsiung, Hualien, and
Taitung regions respectively. Major functions of NER substation
include:

Synchronizes with the Headquarters in broadcasting nationwide
educational and cultural programs. |

Incorporates local resources in producing community cultural/educational
programs to help promote community cultures. |

Integrates with the news programs of the Headquarters and
reports local cultural and educational news and relevant information
to become a regional center for cultural and educational information. |
